Developers can review work and answer AI questions from the web or a phone while tasks run on a connected computer or Linux server. Conversations and project memory stay with the platform user and project, keeping earlier context accessible when switching devices or model accounts.
Turn connected devices into a working development flow
Connect a device, authorize a project directory, and choose a model and task permissions. The AI can then read code, edit files, run commands, and work with Git. Read-only access, asking before actions, and full access offer different execution modes so users control the scope of a task.
Continue from the web, your phone, or your editor
Alongside the web workspace, the VS Code extension provides access to the current project inside the editor, sharing the CloseAI account, model accounts, allowance, and conversations. The IntelliJ IDEA plugin is still under marketplace review. Check the product for current downloads and platform support.
Engineering: connectors, isolation, and continuous memory
The device connector establishes an outbound connection and performs file, terminal, and Git operations on the device and directory authorized by the user. The platform organizes project history and memory, with separate model environments and login states for each user. Source code is read as needed, and the required context is sent to the selected model service.
What is needed for tasks to keep running?
The execution device or your own server must be online and have the tools and permissions required by the task. A server that stays online can continue work after your work computer is turned off. Operations on a connected local computer wait while that computer is offline. Model services and account costs follow the applicable plan details.
