AI Item Valuation & Management · An Infinfer Product

MuchSnap

Photo-based reference valuations, price evidence, and a personal item ledger

MuchSnap identifies multiple items in a photo and uses model details, condition and available pricing information to provide a reference price and supporting evidence for each item. After signing in, you can save items to an inventory, record purchases, income, expenses and cost recovery, and view later valuations and share cards.

  • Multi-item recognition
  • Valuation evidence
  • Item ledger

One photo, an estimated value for each item

From a single object to an entire desk, MuchSnap identifies individual items in an image and looks for price information based on their models, specifications, and visible condition. It provides a reference value for each item and a total for the scene. Assumptions remain explicit when details cannot be seen or confirmed.

See the price and examine the evidence

Results distinguish verifiable market listings from AI-inferred estimates, retaining available sources and dates. Add photos, supply a model number, or correct recognition to update the same discovery. Item-by-item evidence helps avoid counting accessories, repeated angles, or background objects as separate assets.

Save items and track value and payback

After signing in, add your physical possessions to an item list and record purchase costs, actual income, and savings. Follow later valuations and payback summaries. Payback is calculated from actual income and expenses entered by the user; estimated values of unsold items do not count as cash recovered.

Engineering: recognition, search, and asynchronous analysis

The project uses Next.js, TypeScript, SQLite, and a separate worker for recognition and valuation. The analysis flow connects multi-item review, pricing dimensions, public-source research, and combined valuation. Tasks retain progress and recoverable stages, while later price lookups reuse confirmed item identities.

How should reference valuations be used?

When information is limited, results are labeled as AI-inferred or estimated. Asking prices are not presented as completed-sale prices. The reference indicator describes source quality, not an accuracy rate, and subsequent price records do not represent the entire market. MuchSnap helps people understand and organize possessions; it does not replace professional appraisal or actual transaction quotes. Further privacy and data information is available in the product.
